Katrina Schlager

Psychologist (registered with Medicare)


Katrina Schlager is a Registered Psychologist who sees adults for short-term or longer term psychotherapy employing various therapeutic approaches. She specialises in antenatal and post-natal anxiety and depression, mother infant relationships, infant care and also couple relationships. She has worked in Mother Baby Units for many years, as well as having past experience with an IVF clinic and working with (in) fertility issues. She is also able and interested in general life problems, relationships, anxiety and depression.

Dr Kerry Hampton

Natural Fertility Specialist - Dr Kerry Hampton, RN, RM, Grad Dip (Health Ed), MA (Women's Studies), PhD


Dr Kerry Hampton is a highly qualified and experienced natural fertility specialist. She joined Church Street Medical Centre in 2008 where she provides consultations for couples who are planning a pregnancy, having trouble conceiving, or wish to use hormone-free contraception methods. The Natural Conception Program is based on the very latest research findings and designed to maximise spontaneous conception and pregnancy health. The Natural Contraception Program is for couples who wish to use hormone-free contraception for health, personal or religious reasons. This may include use of the new Caya Diaphragm. The Menstrual Wellbeing Program is designed to maximise wellness across the entire menstrual cycle. More information about these programs can be found by clicking on the links above. Daniella Florio

Podiatry


Daniella Florio has been working as a podiatrist since 2010, and uses a holistic approach to foot and lower leg conditions. She enjoys all aspects of podiatry including general treatment, musculoskeletal issues, diabetes assessment and treatment. Daniella incoporates different therapies such as strapping, muscle strengthening, stretching and orthotics (custom insoles) all designed to complement body function. She also has a keen interest in the assessment and treatment of children’s foot conditions e.g. flat feet, excessive in toeing or out toeing, toe walking, curly toes. In addition to her Bachelor of Podiatry from La Trobe University (2009), Daniella has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Intellectual Disability) with over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of the disability field. She has a particular interest in positive approaches with people with behavioural issues. Daniella is an active member of the Australian Podiatry Association (Victoria).

Laura McDonald

Podiatry


Laura McDonald also graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Podiatry from La Trobe University. She too enjoys all aspects of podiatry including general treatment, diabetes assessment and nail surgery for in-grown toe nails. Laura has keen interest in musculoskeletal issues and uses variety of strategies to meet an individual’s podiatric needs. In particular, Laura incorporates various techniques in treating conditions including: • Strapping and kinesiology Taping • Dry Needling • Orthotic Therapy • Strengthening and stretching exercises

Karen Wright

Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD)


Karen sees people with a variety of needs and conditions, including the following: · Weight management/ weight loss · Supervised Very Low Calorie Diets (VLCDs) · Dietary management of Diabetes and Impaired Glucose Tolerance · Heart Health, elevated cholesterol/lipids, high blood pressure · Gastrointestinal disorders including food Intolerances, IBS, low FODMAPS diet, Coeliac disease, Lactose Intolerance, Diverticular disease, Reflux/GORD · Malnutrition, nutrition support, and weight gain advice including advice regarding supplement use. · General healthy eating advice including nutrient deficiencies -Vegetarian & Vegan diet advice · Paediatrics- weight management, failure to thrive, nutrient deficiencies.
